Slovenia is situated on the sunny side of the Alps, in the heart of Europe. Its position and smallness enable the visitor to pay a visit across the border at any time and to sightsee the towns in neighbouring countries. Travelling from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia can take only two hours to sit in the famous Venetian gondola. It takes you six hours to reach the romantic Rom or fabulous Prague, but four hours will do for Vienna Philharmonic Society or for women's shopping centre in Milan.
